Project Kabuki

The project

Kabuki is a research project sponsored by ENAC and DTI/R&D. The goal of the project is to design new methods and tools to support visual designers at designing and verifying visual interfaces. In particular, the project targets interfaces requiring fine-tuning of visual parameters (color, size, shape...), and whose interactions modify users' perception. The project aims at improving knowledge in Interface Design and Information Visualization.

Our contribution

The lab's involvment includes:
  • designing tools and methods
  • designing usage scenarios
  • expanding knowledge in Information Visualization
  • PhD thesis by Gilles Tabart

The project started in 2006 for three years.
